  1. VILE.
This word doesn’t even come close to describing the utter mayhem, carnage, and blood baths taking place on these hell holes every single day.
It’s absolutely disgusting that this legitimized death camp is permitted to continue.
I isolated a few horses out of this long casualty list.
FALL COLORS ON 8/7/2013 this poor mare was in such rough shape she DNF. This was her first one.
The suffering continued on 5/21/2017 when she was unable to finish the race = DNF yet again!!!! Second strike.
This is a disgusting display of animal cruelty. A second DNF still wasn’t enough for them to get this poor mare into a grassy paddock and away from the abuse.
Instead, they perpetrated more abuse on her and the enablers of the abuse, the commissions, permitted this abuse to continue until she died in the dirt on 8/3/2017. Strike three.
This time she didn’t make it out alive.
JOHN’S ISLAND(JI) – this one is yet another heartbreaking story.
JI made his owner, Weiss, over $350,000, but that wasn’t enough for him to earn a safe landing in a nice grassy paddock. Weiss is known for dumping his racehorses – a disgusting slime ball like they all are.
So JI changes hands and slips down into the claiming ranks when he can no longer bring in the big bucks for Weiss – an absolute heartless bastard like they all are.
Running for his life, slipping lower until he dies in the dirt at the death trap called Saratoga.
DUMPING is part of this despicable business, and it needs to shut down now.
NOBODY can tell me that you “care” and “love” horses when you participate in this utterly disgusting business while you watch a horse that has made you over $350,000 suffer, toil, and subsequently die.
Without skipping a beat your onto your next victim.
MUNJAZ comes from royalty – literally. Bred by one of the richest oil sheikhs in the world who owns SHADWELL STABLE. Spent hundreds of thousands breeding, raising, training, and running this gelding and he dies in the dirt. There is no horse left untouched when it comes to the brutality of this business. Rich or poor they are ALL subjected to a life of abuse in one form or another.
You would have to be mentally deranged, to some degree, to participate/support this sickening display of animal abuse, and dying.
You would also have to be mentally deranged and/or delusional to convince yourself that this is OKAY?!
IT’S NOT OKAY – DYING FOR $2 BETS IS NOT OKAY!!

  2. CATCH A GLIMPSE.
This filly was horse of the year on 3 occasions.
A multiple graded stakes winner of over 1.8 MILLION dollars.
Her owners have just announced that they are DUMPING her into the November sale as a racing or broodmare prospect.
Her trainer, Mark Casse, is quick to say that “…..she had a tremendous heart.”
She sure did you heartless bastards.
On May 27th of this year, Catch A Glimpse went down in the dirt at Woodbine Racetrack CHOCKING on her OWN BLOOD!!!!!
Racetrack personnel, in conjunction with the vet, had to hold her down on her back to prevent her from dying evidently as she lay there for 10 minutes.
Her fighting spirit and will to live got her out of that mess.
Now that Gary Barber & partners have used, abused, exploited her, plus made over 1.8 million it’s time to get rid of her.
By listing her as a racing prospect, and not just a broodmare prospect it greatly increases her buying price by stating that she can still race.
The medical records kept “secret” so that the ongoing cruelty, and abuse of this champion filly can continue for her new owners – whoever they will be.
Potential buyers will not know what caused her to bleed that day so if they put her back into racing they are probably risking her life, but if the present owners really cared then they wouldn’t be dumping her in the first place.
As a Broodmare prospect it’s possible that her vagina will now be exploited by turning her into a breeding machine.
She will, more than likely, sell for MILLIONS so they will flip her for a huge profit.
Whoever buys her will make the decision whether to race her or not, but either way it will not be a good one for her after she’s given these heartless owners millions, almost lost her life for them, and now they can’t even give her a decent retirement in a safe paddock where she can live her life out.
This folks is the brutal world of horse racing where people don’t give a shit about these horses despite what they say.
They are a delusional bunch of heartless slime balls.

  3. So sad what this human race will do for enjoyment!! VERY disgusting to think that all we have to do is exploit these beautiful animals to our very special ignorant behavior! I’m embarrassed for all the people that lower themselves to this!!!

  4. “Cam “went bad…when rider sensed something wrong” at Belterra”
please print the entirety of what the chart reads, “CAM good speed, set pace to deep stretch, went bad at the furlong pole when rider sensed something wrong and was galloped to wire but walked off.”

he was able to gallop to the wire (not saying I support that, if the rider felt something was off, he should’ve been pulled up, but, I’m sure, at the least, if he was terribly lame, the jock would’ve bailed), and walked off, not “vanned off,” so he couldn’t have been too bad off…now, unless you have further information, until you know for sure, please add to your post that he was, “walked off,” so readers will know that there is hope for him

    • Mindy…because he walked off instead of being vanned “he couldn’t have been too bad off”? – absolutely not true. Nearly 100% of the horses we took directly from the track who had injuries requiring euthanasia walked off the track in their last race, as well.

Cabriolass, one example – he, in fact, WON his last race and walked under his “own power” back to the barn. 12 hours later he limped into my trailer….

    • Using, abusing, inhumane treatment, doping cocktails, whipping/beating, dumping, dying, kill auctions, slaughterhouse floor, premarin mares, neglect – that’s horse racing, and if that isn’t “entirely” good for you Mindy then take a hike.
Get off your high horse – the one that just died in the dirt.
      Defend that.
