Goliath’s Girl (reported on previously) “was euthanized at the scene” after falling in the 1st February 24. “The Stewards,” the minutes note, “lit the inquiry lamp to determine the cause of [the] spill.” The spill.
At Santa Anita, for the week February 12-February 18, three “fatalities” are listed. Two are disclosed: Tribal Fighter in the 7th February 15; Del Mar Darling (reported on previously) in the 4th February 16. The third dead horse was left unidentified. For the week February 19-February 25, another kill – again, unidentified.
